Alabama-based power pop/bubblegum combo the Lolas formed in 1998 around vocalist/guitarist Tim Boykin (ex-Shame Idols), drummer Mark Reynolds, and bassist Walon Smith. They debuted with the Ballerina Breakout LP a year later, and followed it with Silver Dollar Sunday in 2001. 2004 saw the release of Something You Oughta Know. 2006 saw the release of Let's Rock Rave And Shout With on the Japanese label Wizzard In Vinyl.

I have this CD and i can say it's very nice. Very powerful, i think the cover fits perfect for the album.
Thank you for caring about the Lolas. I wonder if you are going to post Doctor Apache sometime near in the future, i always wanted to listen that one.
Hey there, absolutely LOVE your blog - but came to it late... found it because I’m tearing my hair out trying to find FLAC versions of the Lolas Rock Rave & Shout and Like The Sun. I see you had them up here at one point but now the links are expired.
I know it’s a long shot but just had to at least ask since these things just don’t exist anywhere and I’ve got a hole in my Lolas collection (I bought all of their other albums on bandcamp but these two are MIA)... any chance you could share those again?!
