The band includes Mike Turi - Vocals / Synth; Taejon Romanik - Guitar; Yegor Mackey - Bass; Marco Piro - Drums + John Kelley, the projectionist, who takes care of all the visuals effects. The word has it that these shows have been compared to Jefferson Airplane 1966/67 when their music incorporated Jerry Abram's Headlights visual art performances.
WWWets' songs are drenched in reverb and delay and find their inspiration in 60's garage rock, surf, kraut, and psychedelia. And if the album's title is a obvious nod to the 13th Floor Elevator, one can also feel the influence of Spacemen 3 or the Velvet underground.
The wild wild wets are organically blending together old and new sounds in one big sonic maelstrom to create something authentic and perfectly original and fresh. They take the listener to a cosmic roller-coaster ride through his brain and leave his mind panting for more.... The result, at the end of the trip, is the album "14th Floor".
