Tribute to Midnight Rambler (Sons of the Dolls)

It's exactly 3 years today since Patrick (Midnight Rambler) passed away.

Take a minute to remember him while listening to this CD he ripped specially for me way back in the day.....the man knew a good band when he heard one!

  2. Patrick was one of the best -- always enthusiastic, always eager to spread his enthusiasm, and always very supportive of our band, Sour Jazz. His passing, far too early, left a giant hole in the internet. Cap doffed and jar raised in his memory -- today and all days.

  3. Sean Tyla, Inmates, Fixed Up, Willie Alexander.....

I knew the band names, but never heard their music before, but everything in his blog was worth a listen. Hours and hours of listening pleasure with the warranty of 100% R'N'R on it.

Ratboy, Thanks for keeping him in our minds!!!!

  10. Sweet of you to post something in Patrick's memory on the anniversary of his death. Very classy.
I only knew the man through his blog, but his infectuous enthusiasm & passion for Rock 'n' Roll shone through in every post he made. His premature loss has made the blogosphere a far poorer place.
Patrick's definitive completist version of The Heartbreakers 'L.A.M.F.', is blaring away right now on my hi-fi.
    Glass raised.
    Cap doffed.
    Cheers,
