STEVE ADAMYK BAND

The STEVE ADAMYK BAND

Under a very cool sleeve that brings back memories of both Roy Lichtenstein and the first album of Bram Tchaikovsky is hidding The Steve Adamyk Band a bunch of obnoxious, rowdy, guys from Ottawa, Ontario. The SAB plays trash-pop inspired by seventies punk and skinny tie bands. For those of you who absolutely need name dropping, one could easily mention the Pointed Sticks or the Buzzcocks. Or more recently, the Exploding hearts or the Cute Lepers. This is amazing three-chord powerpop punk backed up with plenty of energy and catchy and sweet hooks. If you only buy one record this month, let it be this one.

You can buy the vinyl from the nice people at DEAD BROKE REKERDS.
