Joey MUCCARINO And The MYERS - All Mucked Up

Joey MUCCARINO And The MYERS - All Mucked Up (MONO MIX)

In Flac - covers are included

1 A Little Twist 2 You And I Belong Together 3 She's An Angel 4 If You Knew 5 It Takes Time 6 If I Knew Then (What I Know Now) 7 Caught In A Lie 8 Treat Her Right 9 Doreen 10 Cocoa Beach 11 Mata Hari 12 Love Is Knocking At Your Door
Muck and the Mires are an easy fit as a flashback to '60s garage pop on All Mucked Up. These 12 songs are buried in hooks making for quick and easy singalongs, and the band jumps right in from the get go. Throughout this release they are often masters of their musical domain, but what a weird idea it was to record this album in "true stereo". Yours truly remixed this in glorious MONO, i.e the way it should have been right from the start!

Black Pistol Fire

Black Pistol Fire

In Flac - covers are included

1. Cold Sun2. Suffication Blues3. Where You Been Before4. Jezebel Stomp5. Your Not The Only One6. Trigger On My Fire7. Sort Me Out8. Jackknife Darlin'9. Black Eyed Susan10. Silent Blue11. Without Love12. Bottle Rocket13. So Heavy

On Black Pistol Fire's eponymous debut, the former Toronto duo of Kevin McKeown (guitar/vox) and Eric Owen (skins) recruited Jim Diamond to transform its South Austin garage rock into an urban beatdown back in Detroit, where the producer's early work with the White Stripes and long tenure in the Dirtbombs ups the ante from local Chili Cold Blood and guts to smoking gun powder burns. A spidery guitar break on opener "Cold Sun" and McKeown's end flourish on "Jezebel Stomp" loosen aural pheromones leading to a Red River rumble on "Your Not the Only One," though it's the roundhouse wallop of "Black Eyed Susan" backed by the cymbal splash and guitar sirens of "Silent Blue" that sets Black Pistol Fire rolling and tumbling toward the last third of the LP.

The Breakups - Illness At Ease

The Breakups - Illness At Ease

In Flac - covers are included

1. Everybody's Girl 2. Morningside Lane 3. Good To Lie 4. Baby Sez 5. Cry In The Night 6. Feel Alright 7. Knockin' At Your Door 8. Can't Find My Way 9. Alice Brown's Blue 10. Tossin' Turning 11. Black By Six 12. Little Sallie Nightfall 13. Discourse With Jaxon 14. In And Out

With the wanton urge to shake apathetic rock from their collective conscious the breakUps are primed to serve-up their own cut of primitive music they call “Rhythm & Punk” and deliver it raw, frenzied and unfiltered to the people. Take a thick slice of Maximum R&B, grind in a dash of greasy Stax era soul and mash it up with a slab of mid ‘60s American Garage and you have the Rhythm & Punk sound that is the breakUps. If you dig the LYRES, The CYNICS and the FUZZTONES, this is a real must have!!!!

Mondo Topless - Go Fast!

Mondo Topless - Go Fast!

In flac - covers are included

1. No More 2. Horsefeathers 3. Think With Your Hands 4. Futility Dance 5. Every Day 6. I'm Crying 7. Ain't Getting Any 8. Anytime 9. Gimme Gimme 10. Bottomless Pit 11. Break The Ice 12. Gonna Be All Right 13. One, Two, Three, Me 14. Panty Sniffer 15. Loose

Go Fast! is as classic as they come - sweat-drenched, fast, and hip shaking good. The organ soaked, fast-paced rhythms, and manic guitars all come crashing together to make an appetizing sound, a fresh, refreshing rock sound that recalls sock hops on speed as much as it does the post-punk movement. Mondo Topless creates 15 tracks here that will devour you and make you come back for more. It is the sweat taste of rock 'n' roll's sweat, and you just can't get enough

MANY thanx to LIMBURG for this brilliant contribution and for the reup.

The Mystreated - 10 Boss cuts (vinyl rip)

The Mystreated - 10 Boss cuts (vinyl rip)

In wav - covers are included

1 Leave Me Sad 2 There's a Time 3 Notice Me 4 Not Coming Home 5 Only Time Will Tell 6 Flashing in My Mind 7 It Don't Come Easy 8 I'm Left Behind 9 Can't You Try 10 You Don't Want Me

Considering that in 1992 the Chesterfield Kings were a glam rock band and the Fuzztones were watering down their 1960s influences and playing up to the gothic/rock crowd, the Mystreated's "purist" folk-rock and 1966 garage-punk tendencies gave Pebbles fans the world over something to hold onto. 10 Boss Cuts could have quite easily been recorded in a back-room studio in 1966 by a pimply faced inept bunch of teenagers trying to emulate their heroes. (And for a garage band aiming for the traditional approach, this is a compliment.) Billy Childish's amateurish lo-fi (read "crappy"!) production adds a rawness and non-'90s feel to the album with crunchy guitars, and drums that sound real, adding a gritty backbone to Ratcliffe's whining, drawled vocals. The Mystreated soon progressed, but this album fully achieved recreating the spirit of '60s garage. Although many other garage bands were releasing records in 1992, very few others captured the essence of their heroes as well as this. If a song like "There's a Time" had been released in 1966, it would be now viewed as a garage classic.

The Sick Rose “No Need For Speed”

The Sick Rose “No Need For Speed”

In Flac - covers are included

The Sick Rose is a band from Italy. No Need for Speed is rich in classic power pop structures, irrepressible enthusiasm, and it’s also produced by Dom Mariani (DM3, Stems). The guitar riffs and jangle melodies are awesome on “Magic Teacher” and “Pathetic Girl.” If you’re looking
for that garage feel with harmonies “Before You Go Away” is another winner. The band is pretty consistent here, and for the most part we get mainly fast paced tunes with a few mid-tempo ones (like “Drop By And Stay”). The Beatles-style Rickenbacker arpeggio dominates “Take It All Back,” and it’s another keeper here.

The Crack Pipes - Every Night Saturday Night

The Crack Pipes - Every Night Saturday Night

In FLAC - covers are included

1. The Truth About Money 2. Record Player Party 3. Witch Hunt 4. Jealous Of Me 5. Let's Scratch 6. Cottonpickin' 7. Every Night Saturday Night 8. Woman (You Better Love Me) 9. The Psycho Needle Blues 10. Two Gold Rings 11. I'm Yours (Use Me Anyway You Wanna) 12. Downtown Diddley 13. Black Fire
The Crack Pipes, led by smoky vocalist Ray Colgan, debuted with Every Night Saturday Night (Sympathy, 2001), a schizophrenic collection that alternated furious, distorted garage rock'n'roll (Cottonpickin') and devoluted blues numbers a` la Jon Spencer (Every Night Saturday Night, Two Gold Rings). Plus an eight-minute cover of Downtown Diddley. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9CBG8LZH
