More stuff for your mod allnighter! This album reveals big boss man's ability to groove just as effectively in the studio as they do live. As always the songs are hung on a tight drum/bass/guitar groove with acid jazz tinged Hammond lead lines. On this outing there are more vocal tracks. Main man Nasser Bouzidas takes the lead vocal whilst playing keyboards and also drives the funk grooves harder with bongo breaks. He is "The Bongolian". If you are into groovy percussion he's your man.
This album has a live feel which just makes you want to move. Real "belly-button to knee-cap" music! Buy it, play it, enjoy it. If you're feeling down play it again and B.O.O.G.A.L.O.O.
This album has lots to offer and stands up there with The Diplomats of Solid Sound or the Meters. Nasser is mod through and through, like Paul Weller, and his music is a sincere take on that "Blow Up" club sound brought right up to date. Go on-buy it!
