Wooooow!!!!! Double cd!!! Thankx for this edition!!!!
Fabuloso. Los 2 discos de Gun Club son para hacerles un marco. Impresionante y la reedición de Miami con el live maravaillosa. Muchas gracias.
Thankx RAtBoy. I love this band and this reiusse is fantastic, sure. Great live.
_Easily_ one of the worst bands I ever saw live. JLP is in the top two of most ridiculous frontmen I've ever seen, along with the singer from Psi-Com (who went on to bigger things as Perry Farrell...).
Good Christ did they suck live...and yet the studio albums were so good. Hard to explain.
Jeffrey had this very very bad habit of coming out before the band came on, setting up some juju jive on the stage (of the sort one buys as souvenirs from New Orleans), lighting some incense, and intoning some kind of 'prayer to the blues' pseudo-voodoo nonsense. Utterly laughable, because he took himself seriously. Heroin will do that to a person, I guess.
In any case, many thanks for posting this - I've got the vinyl but who knows when I would've gotten around to transferring it.
(FWIW, my opinion is based on having seen them around 5-6 times at venues as various as the glamourous Cathay de Grande, Anticlub, and Ukrainian Hall [on a bill with Plugz, Flesheaters, and Phast Phreddie & Thee Precisions; the doormen/ticket-takers that night were Top Jimmy & Carlos Guitarlos].)
