The Maggots, a Swedish trio with Stefan Hellstrom on bass, Mans P. Mansson on guitar and vocals, and Jonas Lundberg on guitar, play 1960s-style garage-psychedelic rock with edges of punk, swamp rock, and frat dance-rock. Mansson and Lundberg had previously played together in the 1980s in the Crimson Shadows, who put out a few singles and a mini-LP. Many thankx for this wild garage. Fantastic in my opinion.
I saw them twice in Madrid. Last time they brought a fourth member. He was playing a keyboard under influence, and I could notice he lost one of his shoes and was wearing some other shoe instead, with the loose soil and quite damaged. This guy was soooo funny...
They used to play "Headin' for Texas Border" by the Flamin' Groovies.
