In the early 1980s, when a large portion of the underground youth in San Diego were obsessed with the Psychedelic music and fashion of swinging '60s London, a band who went by the name of Crawdaddys were already doing something a little different: less fuzz-box and more R&B saturated. The Crawdaddys played rock 'n' roll in the spirit of the Pretty things imitating Chuck Berry, Otis Redding and Little Richard.

Great band that came from the same San Diego neo garage scene like The Tell Tale Hearts or Gravedigger Five.
They were R&B derived garage band that was influenced by early Pretty Things, Them and specially Downliners Sect. Let's all jump on the Crawddady Express !!!!!
Thanx so much for this brilliant share.
