You'd think from the cover that this band is a long lost hair metal band from the 80s. "Long lost" and "80s" are correct, but the music this British band made was basically power pop, catchy, melodic and infectious. That most of the music on this CD didn't come out when the band existed is no surprise: hair metal fans would be disappointed by the songs' upbeat, poppy tone and lack of sleaze, while power poppers would be turned off by the group's appearance. Too bad for them - they deserved better. At least now fans of singalong power pop can discover this minor gem.
