The Japanese rock band Supersnazz, named after the Flaming Groovies song, formed in 1990 with Spike on vocals, Tomoko on bass, Kanako on guitar and Skinnie Minnie on drums. In 1993 they released Superstupid! on Sub Pop. In 1994 Skinnie Minnie left the band, and Hisayo, formerly of the Sleez Sisters, joined. In 1997 they released their second album Devil Youth Blues on the Osaka based indie Time Bomb. Later that year came another drummer change, and this time Shoe from Teengenerate came aboard, becoming the first male member. In 1998 Supersnazz released their third album Diode City, and in 1999 The Barbarockets both on Time Bomb. In 2001 the band released Rock-O-Matic from Loft Records, and performed at the Las Vegas Shakedown.

Ps: Supernazz covered "Lookin' for a kiss" on the Japanese tribute to Johnny THUNDERS, Valley of the Tokyo Dolls, and our good friend CURTY RAY from the ever so brilliant PowerPop Overdose had the very good idea to provide us with a link to this excellent rock'n'roll compilation, so don't forget to check the comments to this post.

I am sorry I do not have the cover art for this one. I got it from my twin brother before he passed away last year and did not have the foresight to get art work. (His ex-wife took all of his movies and discs while we were at the funeral. Nice huh?!) He got it on one of his trips to Japan and I do not think it is avialable anymore. With or without the art I hope it is a fine addition your collection

Great blog, I've only just found it
However there seems to be a problem with some of the z-share links, when you press download link and wait the 20 seconds, it just goes back to download link again (like a loop)
Is this just me or has anyone else had this problem ?
Would love to grab the supersnazz, any ideas
Best and good luck with the blog
